Privacy

This notice explains how the public Barbados Routes website handles information when you use it.

Information the public site collects

The public website has no contact forms, account sign-up or advertising tracking. It does not ask you to submit personal information. If you choose “Use my location” on the geographic map, your browser asks for permission and uses your location to centre the map. Barbados Routes does not store that location.

Essential storage and cookies

The public website does not set a cookie for ordinary browsing. The separate, restricted Programme environment uses essential sign-in storage and interface preferences so authorised users can work securely. Those features are not part of the public website.

Analytics

No visitor analytics or advertising trackers are currently used on the public website.

Third-party maps

When the geographic map is opened, map tiles are requested from CARTO and use OpenStreetMap data. Those services receive the technical information normally sent with a web request, such as an IP address and browser details, and handle it under their own privacy terms. The network diagram does not require map tiles from those services.
